I had the pleasure of attending the 2015 MAXIM Halloween party in Beverly Hills, CA.
I Received the invitation to attend both MAXIM Halloween and Playboy Halloween parties. I could not go to both and was extremely torn, so I had to weigh my options. I had previously been to parties at the Playboy Mansion, but have never been to a Maxim Party. I accepted the invitation to the Maxim Halloween party and was put on the VIP guest list.
Getting to the actual party was quite a journey. I had to arrive at a public parking garage where at least 600+ other models waited in line (in full costume haha.. It was definitely a sight to see!) to check in. You are then directed to a party bus to transport you to the Maxim Halloween Estate. For security reason they do not allow anyone to drive their personal cars to the estate. Everyone is given a bracelet and the bracelets are checked multiple times throughout entry into the party.
I was lucky enough to have friends and ties with the Australian production and modeling brand “Babe Method”. Babe Method was the official videography and photography company for the Maxim event. I was able to go behind the scenes as “staff” and fortunate enough to not wait in the line with several hundred models during check-in. Babe Method made sure their girls were one of the first buses to arrive at the estate and walk the red carpet.
The party started around 7:30pm and continued to well after Midnight. Guests were entertained by dancers, fire breathers, contortionists, jugglers, a giant haunted house (I was too scared to go in it haha), and a complimentary buffet and open bar.

Joshua Paull is a Tampa, Florida based photographer who uses mainly natural lighting to capture incredible images. As you can see the lighting is soft, natural, very light/subtle editing, and has an overall great composition.
We ended up shooting in Malibu, California on one of the most breathtaking beaches I have ever stepped foot on. There was about 1/2 mile of deserted beach with about 30 various rock formations and 5 small caves. very secluded and minimal people. The water was about 65 degrees and contained several shades of blue. I cannot stress the visual beauty!
We shot for about 2 hours. Joshua is very proactive and time efficient. Within 24 hours I started receiving my final images, which is almost unheard of due to the lengthy image upload/ processing steps and editing time. I was more than pleased with our work together and am excited to work with him again in the near future!
Keep and eye out for more of our work!
